I am walking/running for the fourth year in a row to bring awareness, prayer, and financial support to NOE international. Having met and heard about many young people who now have a hope for not only a successful future but an ability and desire to give back to their community is a great inspiration to run. Being an educator for over 40 years, I understand the value of a good education but know that encouragement, spiritual support, love, and acceptance is what fuels a child to persevere and excel in school. NOE provides this to hundreds of students. A marathon is a good symbol for what NOE has done. It is not just a quick or temporary mission in Mexico, it has over 26 years of history in Morelia and the vision for even more.
