My Role at NOE
I have had the privilege of helping start our newest center, NOE Vida West. Currently, I am teaching three classes of first-year English to our high school students. It has been such a joy to watch God build this program from the ground up. I am excited to share that we have many students who are deepening their English speaking abilities, and their relationships within the center. I believe a key to our growing community has been our youth group on Friday nights.
During these sessions, our students play games, eat snacks and hear a brief message. The games give students the opportunity to connect with each other, be silly, and feel safe within the group; the snacks help fill their tummies and hearts; and the messages tell them about a real hope and of the most incredible love they could ever experience. I have cherished seeing this group grow in size and in unity. Many of my students come every week, and we are so thrilled with how God is knitting everyone together.
How to Partner with Me
If you would like to join me in the exciting work that God is doing here in NOE, I would love your prayers and support. Pray that God would continue to move in the hearts of our teachers and students, and that Christ’s presence would be evident in all of our campuses. In NOE Vida West, we are growing rapidly, so in this crucial time pray that God would continue to build the foundation of this school on the reputation of his love, mercy and his desire that all would come to know him.
Also, if you feel led to support me financially, I am hoping to raise $800/month, or around $5,000 for the rest of my time here (June of 2019). I am so grateful and excited for all that God is doing here, and I would love the opportunity to stay until the end of the semester with my students.
